My Food Story
The recipes I make are comforting and reminiscent of my childhood with some upgrades. Growing up, I was always in the kitchen with my Filipina Mom, and there I found my passion for food, different flavors, and entertaining. My Mom is a phenomenal home cook and can rival some of the best of them, but she doesn't bake. For my 6th grade birthday, I asked my parents for a Kitchen Aid mixer. From then on, I started watching the Food Network, read cookbooks, and my love of baking began. I taught myself how to bake and understand the importance of easy recipes.
I played college softball and went on to pursue a career as a plus-size model. During that time, I lived in the New York City area, my passion for hospitality and food grew.
